DTHA Hockey Academy • Since 2022
A complete player-development system connecting skill, testing, physical performance, evaluation and the right next opportunity.
Build My Player PlanOne academy. The whole player.
Parents need clear answers. Players need the right challenge. DTHA turns training, testing and evaluation into a practical plan built around age, position, level, habits and ambition.

Player-first coaching
DTHA started in 2022 in the GTA with a straightforward idea: every player deserves honest feedback and a development plan that fits the player—not a generic package.
We connect on-ice coaching with video review, physical testing, evaluation and opportunity guidance. Families receive clear next steps, and players understand what to improve, why it matters and how it connects to their goals.
Hard work matters most when it has direction.

DTHA player pathway
Placement considers age, level, habits, coachability, game impact and goals. Evaluation—not ego—determines the best starting point.
Invitation onlySelected for players whose current level, habits, pace and goals require a high-performance environment.
The group must keep a demanding and safe pace for every player. Invitation follows evaluation of level, coachability, consistency, training habits and readiness—not reputation alone.
Advanced developmentFor competitive players ready for continuous evaluation, extra on-ice and off-ice work, and active pathway support.
Developing performanceFor players building game understanding, cleaner execution, speed and more consistent habits.
FoundationFor players who need strong basics, structure, confidence and a positive environment for growth.
Players progress according to performance, habits, coachability and evaluation—not age alone.
Beyond development
NAP and EP support the player and family beyond a roster spot—including team, school and designed player housing support, Cohort 1 development, ongoing evaluation, extra practices and offer management.
Support for players and families moving toward hockey and education opportunities in Canada or the United States.
Support for players and families moving toward hockey and education opportunities in selected European markets.
